Helping you enjoy your life with better hearing.
We offer hearing tests for Houston, The Woodlands, League City, and Kingwood. A hearing test is the first step in determining if you have hearing loss and what degree of loss you have. The purpose of the hearing test is to assess how well you can hear certain sounds at different frequencies and volumes. We will also perform a word recognition test to see how well you hear speech in noise and quiet. After your hearing evaluation, we will go over the results of your audiogram with you and help you find a solution.
Hearing Aid Fittings
Once we’ve evaluated your hearing and you have decided on a pair of hearing aids, we will expertly fit those instruments to your unique needs. We want to ensure your hearing aids sit comfortably and securely in your ears. We will also program the devices to your exact hearing needs according to your hearing prescription. We encourage you to come back in after your initial fitting appointment so we can make sure your hearing aids are serving you well.

Earwax is a natural substance that acts as a cleaning agent for the inner and middle ear. Usually, earwax will make its way out of the ear canal naturally. However, sometimes it can build-up or become impacted, causing clogged ears, discomfort, and muffled hearing. If you have impacted earwax that is affecting your hearing ability, our hearing specialists can help.
Tinnitus, or “ringing in the ears,” is the perception of a sound when no external sound is present. People who experience tinnitus describe it as hearing a buzzing, humming, ringing, or whistling sound in their ears. Tinnitus is incredibly common, affecting more than 30 million people in the U.S. Although there is no cure for tinnitus, there are management options that can help alleviate your symptoms.
At Best Hearing Aid Solutions, we offer tinnitus treatment options, such as hearing aids. We carry special hearing aids that have a tinnitus masking feature. With these, you can play soothing sounds in your ears, such as ocean waves, to distract your brain from tinnitus. If you want to stop ringing in the ears, contact us today.
In order to be proactive about your hearing health, it’s crucial to protect your ears from loud sounds. Loud noise exposure is one of the most common causes of hearing loss in people of all ages. When sounds exceed 85 decibels, prolonged exposure can be detrimental to your hearing. It’s important to wear hearing protection if your ears are regularly exposed to loud noise.
We can create custom fit earmolds, earplugs, and in-ear monitors for musicians. Custom hearing protection is essential if you work in a noisy environment, or if you enjoy activities where sound can get loud.
At Best Hearing Aid Solutions, we understand navigating hearing loss can be stressful, that’s why we have two service dogs at our offices who are dedicated to brightening your day and helping you feel relaxed during your appointment! Oliver is a Registered Service and Therapy dog, and Malicka is a Licensed Therapy dog. If you would like Oliver or Malicka to be present during your appointment, please contact us.
